On one side, it plays host to the the world’s Winter X Games. It’s also the notable backdrop of the Red Bull Double Pipe event. But rest assured, there is a family-friendly side that’s laid back and great for beginners. The easy-going side of Buttermilk tends to stay uncrowded, and youngsters will find a learning center with innovative skills training sessions to make skiing easier.
